I will be traveling on November 13 and will be returning home on Thanksgiving day.
I'm sad I will miss the day with my family but we have so much we will be thankful for.
Waiting a week was not an option.:)
I have witnessed God's perfect timing in all of this. My dad and I have got to spend some great times together. The Lord gave me an incrediable gift when he gave me time with my father.
I'm not sure how much time he has left because it looks like he is not going to have the surgery. They told him 6-8 months. But do any of us know how much time we have.
I'm enjoying taking pictures and hearing his laugh. I'm falling in Love with a man
that I should of fell in love with years ago..

Robin,
I love your blog! I haven't seen one in brown before. I really like it! So I just put two and two together... I think it might be your Joseph's visa appointment that "bumped" my Micah out a week. ;0) Of course, it is easy to be understanding about being pre-empted by a boy with a hole in his heart, but it makes it that much sweeter to get to see his beautiful face and the wonderful family he's coming home to! I so hope we're there together, and get to meet.
Blessings,
Jamie Z. :0)

I am so glad to hear that you have been having sweet times with your dad. God is good. These are memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.

Hey,
Your just like me, you have always loved him, he just wouldn't let you know him....just like my dad. It is sad that it takes a major ordeal to make our dads want to be a part of our lives, but hey, we will take it won't we? I am so happy for you and what God is doing in your lives. Rob-your about to leave and go get your baby boy and your getting to know your dad in a whole new way....God is moving in so many ways, it is so exciting to see what He will show you next! I love you!
Michael :)
