Could we be having Twins!
Things can happen fast in the domestic realm of adoption. Sunday evening we got a call from our social worker "There is a birthmom in Montgomery, she has twin girls in NICU, born 09/19 probably going to released from the hospital Friday. Do we want our profile to be shown to her?" We told her to let us sleep and pray on it over night. We decided that there was no way we could say no to these little girls. So we told Suzanne (social worker) that yes she could add our profile to the 2 or 3 that she could show this birthmom. Our thinking was that if she chooses us (a long shot) then we would know whether or not to proceed with Uganda Adoption.
Suzanne called us Monday afternoon with the news that the girls would be released from the hospital Tues morning...and that the birth mom had chosen us! How quickly things change, we are still catching our breath. In Alabama there is a 5 day period of time where the birthmom can change her mind and decide to parent, If she decides to go thru with the adoption we will be able to get those 2 girls this coming up Monday! Our house hold is scrambling to get ready for this wonderful addition. Lord willing we will be staying up nights soon feeding and loving two beautiful little girls.

This is Robin:
Ok lets first say how thrilled I am!! My heart feels scared at the risk of getting hurt again but....
it's not about me is it? I can't begin to tell you the feelings I'm going through. I can't sleep and don't want to eat and my mind is full of the thoughts of two little bitty girls who might be my daughters.
Our social worker called us last night and gave us an up-date on the girls and said they were doing wonderful and they were surprised they didn't get released last night.
Once they get released they will go to a foster home near our social worker and we will get pictures and up-dates on them many times through out the day. '
Our social worker talked to the birth-mom last night and everythings still looking great on her end as well.
She is 22 years old and in a tough spot I don't want to tell her whole story but please pray for her.
I would appreciate your prayers..
the above pics are not of the twins....just trying to see what they may look like:)

Praise God from Whom all blessing flow!
I know it must be tough but keep the faith and I will be praying for you and family and family to be!
Wow - Like I said - "Y'all are magnets for excitement and possibilities!" We are antsy and waiting patiently (what an oxymoron) for the words to release us to really celebrate with you. Until then - we are partying on your behalf. ;)
Hugs -
