Saying Good-bye to Tom Lee..
Losing his life in a Tornado, protecting his family.
This does not surprise those of us that knew him.
He was the protector of his family always.

over his entire family last night in the deadly tornadoes

He was the protector of his family always.
He died laying his body
over his entire family last night in the deadly tornadoes
that ripped through our state.
We have traveled with this family on vacations and just two
weeks ago they sat around our table and we celebrated
the birthdays of Channie Mae and Judson.
We ate and laughed and thanked God for the blessings of children.
We ate and laughed and thanked God for the blessings of children.
That's what you did when Tom was around.
You talked about the Lord and the blessing
of children.
He had 13.
He told Scott over dinner, "Scott, I've been praying God would see fit to give me 15 more years
so I can see Judson into manhood."
He also said "ya know, Judson still sleeps with me and Sherry."
"We don't mind, we love it.."
He lived.
He embraced the moments of this life with his family
and with his children. He invested himself.
He adored and loved his wife
and we're so proud to call him friend.
We will miss you Mr. Tom, we'll miss your straw hat,
your baseball hats, and all the many ways
you Glorified the Lord. .
There is no reason to look back:
We know the Lord escorted you into heaven
saying..
Well done my Faithful servant
Well done..
No regrets.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend. I have been praying for this dear family as well as the Crawfords with the loss of their house. Did your family and your house do okay during the storms??? Thinking of you all.
Thank you for doing this. Your words and pictures are wonderful and yet so many of who knew him understand that this does not begin to tell how godly and wonderful he is (now) and was while he on this earth.
This is a wonderful way to express the love of a father, husband and friend. I didn't know this man but those of you who did were blessed! I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around Tom's family and friends and help them through this most devastating time.

Mr. Tom was my Uncle Tom. I just happened upon your blog today and it touched my heart. He was a wonderful, kind man with such amazing children. Thank you for your beautiful words.
We were very blessed to able to attend the funeral yesterday. Having only meet the Lees a few times, they made such an amazing impact on us. The funeral was such a testimony to God's grace and mercy and it was so filled with HOPE. It was just beautiful.
What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. Many prayers of blessing and provision for his precious family.
Hi Robin I am your newest follower.
First let me say how sorry I am for your loss of such a precious friend.
I am a blogging friend of Sherry's.We met thru a farming friend blog.We hit it off.I am so hurting in my heart for her and the children. You see I take my little world of blogging seriously.I call it my Neighborhood
when I talk about it.I spend time praying for all the ladies and for their needs.
Sherry is at the top of my prayer list. She has been so generous to share her beautiful home with all of us.How much was salvageable? The Kitchen table that Tom built was it saved?
I would love to get a message to her. Please let her know her friends are writing on her blog their condolences...their prayers for her family and asking what can be done.
Please keep us updated. It is so hard being so far away.I know all I can do is pray and keep them out front so people won't forget what is going on in your State. Here in Tx it is just barely mentioned..so sad!!
I will now be lifting your precious family up...may I say again precious family!!The kids are just darling!!May God Bless you my new friend.
